Electroencephalography (EEG) Test

Electroencephalography (CEG) is an electrophysiological monitoring method to record the electrical activity of the brain. EEG is helpful to diagnose children-n with special needs, especially Autistic, Cerebral Palsy, ADHD who have symptoms of seizures or other neurological problems. An Epileptic seizure may hinder the natural development of the children and thus cause delay in cognitive development. Changes in physical condition/behavior, convulsions and restlessness are usually noticed due to the sudden signal developed in the neuron. Sometimes, the external symptoms are not visible during an epileptic seizure. In such cases. LEG and ultrasonography of the brain help identify any abnormal electrical activity. EEG test followed by EEG report and advice from a pediatric neurologist is available at Proyash for the students admitted at Proyash. the service is also available at low cost for other children at Proyash Outdoor Services.
